Pick your subject.Matthew 22 Jesus( YAHushua) 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Would you consider yourself to be a “good” person?
Here’s a quick test.
Have you ever told a Lie? If yes, what does that make you? A Liar…
Have you ever Stolen anything? If yes, what does that make you? A Thief…
Have you ever used God’s name in vain? If yes, that makes you a Blasphemer-it’s taking the name of the One who gave you life and using it as a filthy cuss word to express disgust.
Jesus said, “Whoever looks at a person to lust after them, has committed adultery with them in their heart already.” Have you ever looked with Lust after someone? If yes, that makes you an Adulterer…
Would you be guilty on Judgment Day? "Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment. - Hebrews 9:27" If you have done these things, then by your OWN admission, God sees you as a Lying, Thieving, Blasphemous, Adulterer at heart. Would this mean you go to Heaven or Hell? "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God - Romans 3:23"
The Bible warns that if you are guilty you will end up in Hell for all eternity. “And the smoke of their torment rises forever and ever. There is no rest day or night” Revelation 14:11. That’s not God’s will. He sent His Son to suffer and die on the cross for you. You broke God’s Law, but Jesus paid your fine. That means He can legally dismiss your case. He can commute your death sentence. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. That whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16” Then He rose from the dead and defeated death.
Repent (turn from sin) today and trust alone in Jesus and God will grant you the gift of everlasting life. This means stop trusting in your own "goodness", instead put that trust in Jesus. Begin reading your Bible (I recommend starting with Mark or John if you’re new to the Bible).
Please consider my motives for telling you this. I’m not asking you for money or to join a church, but to consider the extreme value and importance of your soul, of your life! An estimated 140,000 people die every day. Can you guarantee that you will live to see tomorrow? Get your heart right with God today! Because tomorrow may never come, today is the day of salvation.
I want to know what you think about this serious issue, so feel free to write me back. I hope you give it some serious thought.
